Nando's to open in Worcester Park in November
Nando's has confirmed that it will be opening a restaurant in Worcester Park next month.
Rumours about the store coming to town have been circulating for years.
In 2012 talk on Twitter suggested Nando's had bought the Worcester Park Tavern building in Park Terrace and was planning to open a branch there.
But the chain rubbished the speculation a the time saying they had "no immediate plans" to open a restaurant in Worcester Park."
But it seems times have changed.
Responding to a request from the Sutton Guardian, Nando's confirmed that a store in Central Road, Worcester Park, was due to open on November 27.
A spokesman added that there was no other information currently available.
