The NHS Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group have hired a new non-emergency patient transport company for people living in Middlesex and Surrey.
Healthcare Transport Services (HATS) have been contracted as the agency that will replace ERS Medical and will be responsible for organising community transport.
HATS will also look after eligibility assessments and will use a call centre to organise appointments for all Richmond and Kingston Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) – which is a clinically-led statutory NHS body responsible for the planning and commissioning of local healthcare services.
HATS will also provide NEPT for patients attending community appointments with ‘Your Healthcare (YH)’ in Richmond’s Community Healthcare (HRCH) in Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow.
If you would like to organise non-emergency community transport contact: 0333 240 4082 for transport in Richmond and 0333 240 4926 for transport in Kingston.
