Crystal Palace chief Neil Warnock is hot on the heels of Portsmouth's highly rated midfielder Franck Songo'o.
Warnock is eager to bolster his Eagles squad after their poor start to the Championship campaign and Palace have confirmed the 20-year-old France U19 international, who has played twice for Harry Redknapp's side, is in discussions with the Selhurst Park club with a view to a loan move.
The Cameroonian born winger already has Championship experience after making six loan appearances for Preston North End last season and has also played four times for League One side Bournemouth.
Another player rumoured to be on his way to Selhurst Park is West Ham midfielder Nigel Quashie.
Warnock wants to increase his midfield options and it is understood the Scotland international is currently weighing up a move to Selhurst Park.
However, one player who could be on his way out of SE25 is Eagles player of the season Leon Cort.
Weekend reports have linked the 28-year-old with a £1m move to Stoke City in a deal that would see fellow defender Clint Hill head in the opposite direction
