People were left feeling sick after a "suspicious package" was found in Croydon.
Police were called to a home at 10.31am today to Sumner Road following reports of a suspicious package.
"The package contained a liquid and it was reported that a few persons were feeling unwell following contact," a Met spokesman said.
"As a precaution, LAS and LFB were called and local road closures put in place whilst the item was assessed.
"It was examined by specialist officers and found not to be dangerous."
All roads have since been reopened.
