Upper Norwood Library's on-going funding problems will really frustrate everyone who uses its excellent facilities regularly.
My family use it all the time and it beggars belief that such an important service should continually need to go cap in hand to Croydon and Lambeth for its very survival. Both councils fund all kinds of superfluous schemes when it suits them -- it will be a very poor reflection on Upper Norwood if we lose something as essential to the community as a library.
