On visiting the Westcroft Leisure Centre in Carshalton, I was amazed to see a lot of notices displayed in the gallery above the badminton courts: "No spectating owing to health & safety reasons."
I never knew that spectating was a dangerous activity. Amusing but also pathetic/jobsworthy and (insert your own adjective!) Gervais Sawyer Lavington Road Beddington
