Some time ago I realised that socialism, that superficially attractive doctrine, was turning this country into a gigantic prison camp, and the guards were the police.
The camp commandant was Blair, but it was his court of ex-Marxist activists from the 70s, the cabinet, who really held sway. These people and their friends in business and the media - the new ruling class - are rampaging through the laws and liberties of this country.
The first target was the minds of the British population. You are no longer allowed to disapprove of certain groups or individuals; you are no longer allowed to smoke in public houses; you are likely to be visited and warned by the police if you announce in public that your religious beliefs clash with the homosexual lobby. In short, you are forbidden by law to disagree with the ruling class.
Now they have alcohol in their sights. Keep your eye on the new camp commandant: Gordon Brown.
