The Mayor of Richmond will host a ‘Mayor’s Glitz and Glamour’ quiz next month to raise money for local charities.

The Autumn Quiz takes place on September 20 at Clarendon Hall, York House.

Residents are invited to test their general knowledge and help raise money for the Mayor’s charities; Home Start and Otakar Kraus Music Trust.

Cllr Nancy Baldwin, Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, said: “This will be a fantastic evening.

“You will not only have the opportunity to test your general knowledge and Hollywood glitz and glamour skills whilst enjoying a mouth-watering buffet supper, but also you could potentially win a selection of amazing prizes in our raffle... all while supporting Home Start and Otakar Kraus Music Trust.

“I encourage all to get their tickets for this event now.”

Home Start aids support to young families who are struggling with the demands and stresses of parenting young children.

The Otakar Kraus Music Trust provides music therapy projects to children, young people and adults with physical, learning, neurological or psychological difficulties.

Tickets for the quiz cost £15 and includes a delicious buffet supper and cash bar is open throughout the evening.
