A man was assaulted this afternoon and reports on social media suggest there was a stabbing.
Police did not confirm that the victim was knifed but a spokesman said he suffered an "arm injury" after being attacked on Beulah Road in Thornton Heath.
Officers and paramedics were called to the scene at 2.20pm before a man was taken to hospital.
"A man was treated at the scene for an arm injury and taken to hospital for treatment," a met spokesman said.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
It has been suggested that someone attempted to rob a moped outside Morleys before the “stabbing happened”.
