Stephen Hammond is out as the Minister for Health as Boris Johnson continues to reshape the Cabinet.
The Wimbledon MP and prominent opponent of a no-deal Brexit said it had been a "privilege" to serve in the Department of Health and Social Care.
"I'm proud to have contributed to the NHS long term plan," he wrote on.
"I'd like to thank the team at @DHSCgovuk for all their support, and all the staff at the NHS who do a fantastic job everyday.
"I will support any Government efforts to secure a good deal with the EU, and I remain absolutely opposed to no deal."
The Prime Minister is using the reshuffle at Minister of State level to promote allies and clear out MPs who oppose his stance on Brexit.
