Two teenage girls have been charged with assault and criminal damage over an attack in a central Croydon shop that left a worker in hospital.
Metropolitan Police said officers were called to reports of an assault at Holland and Barrett, North End, on Tuesday afternoon.
Video footage of the incident was shared widely on social media.
It shows the two suspects kicking through the store's glass door before fleeing in the direction of West Croydon.
One of them appears to punch a woman blocking the door in the head number of times.
The injured employee was taken to a south London hospital, where her condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
Two girls, both aged 17, were arrested and subsequently both charged with assault by beating and criminal damage, police said.
They were both bailed and are due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on August 22.
