Two men have been charged following a stabbing in Mitcham.
Police said they were called at midday on May 21 to Lammas Avenue to reports of the attack, although pictures from the scene indicated it may have taken place closer to the town centre.
As a result of the stabbing, a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with arm and leg wounds and was initially treated as life-threatening. The injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening.
Now police have revealed that two men have been charged in connection to the attack.
Bradley Odjoma, 21, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent on May 23. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court the day after and pleaded not guilty; he awaits trial in November.
Tyler Scarr, 20, was arrested on May 29 and was charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon on May 30.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on May 31 and pleaded not guilty; he awaits trial in December.
