Burger King in Wimbledon has shut all of a sudden and it appears to be the work of bailiffs.
A forfeiture notice was posted on The Broadway shop on Wednesday (July 17) on behalf of Parkinson Bailiff Services Limited.
The notice read: "Under the terms and conditions of your lease we as authorised agents acting on behalf of the landlord (Baymanor Ltd)have this day re-entered these premises and the lease is hereby determined.
"Any attempt by you or your agents to enter the demised premises will result in criminal/civil proceedings being taken against you.
"All enquiries must be made in the first instance to Parkinson Bailiff Services Limited at the above address."

In November last year, The Broadway's KFC was temporarily closed due to a rat infestation.

On that occasion the store was able to re-open to the public within a month of the initial closure.
But as for Burger King, it remains unclear when or if the takeaway will ever re-open.
