No arrests have been made after a man in his 50s was stabbed multiple times in Thornton Heath.
Police were called shortly before 5pm yesterday to reports of an incident on Langdale Road, where they found a man suffering a number of stab wounds.
He was rushed to hospital, where his condition has since been assessed as stable.
Detectives continue to investigate, maintaining a cordon at the scene.
Road closures remain in place in Langdale Road from the London Road end. Road users are advised to avoid the area.
