A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Thornton Heath.

Police were called at 4.52pm today (July 15) to Langdale Road where they found a man believed to be in his 50s, suffering stab injuries.

He was taken to hospital and police are currently awaiting an update on his condition.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.  A crime scene remains in place.

 Road closures are in place in Langdale Road from the London Road end.

Road users are advised to avoid the area.
