Armed police raided the property
A suspected terrorist was arrested by armed police following a raid in the early hours of this morning (July 5).
Officers executed a warrant under schedule 5 of the terrorism act, arresting the 20-year-old man on suspicion of offences under section 41.
It is understood the raid took place at an address in New Malden.
No one was injured in the raid, and police continue to search the property.
It is not believed that there was any imminent threat to the public.
Police say the arrest is not related to the arrest of a man and woman in Luton on suspicion of terrorism offences earlier this week.
