Morden Underground station had to be closed for part of this morning after a fire broke out.
Making the announcement on Twitter just after 7am, the account for the Northern Line said: "Services are currently suspended between Tooting Broadway and Morden; Severe delays between Kennington and Tooting Broadway.
"Please use an alternative route for now - we'll keep you updated."

A little more than 30 minutes later, trains were running again.
But this is expected to cause big delays for peak hour commuters.
It’s ‘Tricky getting to work’ day today - @TfL the Northern Line is suspended from Morden so chaos at South Wimbldeon.
