Detectives are renewing appeals for information after a 25-year-old man was shot dead in Feltham last Friday night.

Police were called to Exeter House on Water Mill Way just after 11pm on June 21 to reports of a shooting.

Armed police, local officers, London’s Air Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service attended and found the victim critically injured.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene a short time later.

The Sun have reported the victim's name

as Edward Simpson, a Feltham native.

His next of kin have been informed police continue to work on establishing a formal identity.

A special post-mortem examination will be held at Fulham Mortuary on Sunday, June 23.

An incident room has opened under the Homicide and Major Crime Command and detectives would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the murder or who may have heard the shooting.

The scene is surrounded by homes and officers believe that someone will have information which could prove vital to the investigation.

No arrests have been made as of yet as enquiries into the full circumstances continue.

A Section 60 was in place on Hounslow borough following the tragic incident which ran from 2pm yesterday until 7am this morning.
