Ipswich reveal Bartosz Bialkowksi’s time at Portman Road may be coming to an end with sources claiming Millwall are set to announce his signing.

Bialkowski impressed between the sticks in Town’s poor season which saw the Tractor Boys relegated from the Championship and it’s known the Polish international is keen to play at a higher level than League One.

A goalkeeper is top of Lions boss Neil Harris’s summer wish list having seen Ben Amos, Jordan Archer and Dave Martin all leave the club this month.

Ipswich Town’s manager of football operations Lee O’Neill revealed to The East Anglian Daily Times that the club were open to the sale of their Player Of The Season and a number of clubs have shown interest in the 31-year-old with Millwall believed to have won the race for his signature.

“There is a lot of interest in him but, as per football, you never know what’s going to happen,” O’Neill said.

“There have been a number of enquiries, not just in Bart but in other players but that’s as far as it’s gone at the moment.

“There could be offers in, if not he could be here to start pre-season and be ready to go.

“If we feel there is an offer that is good for Ipswich Town Football Club then obviously it might go further.

“If there isn’t then he’s an Ipswich Town player, contracted to the club, and he’ll be here ready to work for pre-season."

Sources report Millwall have already landed the former Southampton, Notts County, and Barnsley man and it’s a matter of time before the Club announce his arrival.

Lions fans had their say on the reported ‘new signing.’
