POLICE are looking to speak to a man in relation to an attempted armed robbery of a bookmakers.
Officers were called to Coral bookmakers in Queen Street, Great Harwood, after a knife-wielding man demanded money from a member of staff on Saturday, June 8.
Police said the man approached the counter and removed a knife from an Asda carrier bag at around 1pm.
While holding the knife the man demanded money from the staff member.
No money was handed over and the man left the shop and headed along Barn Meadow Lane.
PC Steven Leigh said: “This has been a terrifying ordeal for the member of staff and we’re committed to finding out who is responsible.
“We want to speak to the man in the pictures as part of our investigation.
"If you recognise him or saw anything suspicious in the area around the time, please get in touch."
