More than 25 firefighters tackled a blaze at a four-storey block in Croydon this afternoon.
Four engines were called to a flat-fire on Coombe road at 1.17pm.
Part of a four-roomed flat on the first floor of a four-storey block was damaged by the blaze, which was brought under control by 2.20pm. There were no reports of any injuries.
Fire crews from Purley, Norbury and Wallington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
