A Croydon rap artist and songwriter will have the opportunity to perform on the main stage of this weekend’s The Ends festival, ahead of one of the headlining acts.

Jordan Edwards-Wilks, better known by his stage name Jords, beat off competition from hundreds of other artists to take to the stage this weekend at the festival in Lloyd Park.

Jords has earned his stripes being an effortless and consistent multi-talent; combining clever lyrics with raw emotion and thought-provoking concepts.

He has presented his supporters with a hybrid of smooth hip- hop with a mixture of R&B and poetry, making him a breath of fresh air to current sounds.

The competition was arranged by Havana Club in partnership with Live Nation, seeing six winners from across London.

The lucky winners will open the main stage ahead of headliners Nas, Wizkid, and Damian Marley over the weekend from May 31 to June 2.
