Heathfield Road
Police cordoned off a residential Croydon road yesterday after a suspect climbed onto the roof of a building, threatening to jump.
A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, after officers were called to reports that a person was on the roof of a building on Heathfield Road shortly after 1pm.
Police cars and paramedics blocked entry at the junction with Selsdon Road, as the street was taped off.
The male remains in custody. No-one was injured in the incident.
