Two teenagers were surrounded and mugged by eight youths in Richmond Park.
At around 5.20pm the two boys were walking the park on Wednesday April 17, when they were approached by a group about 50 yards from the main gate.
The group of eight surrounded the pair and three of them demanded their property. Intimidated and fearing injury, the boys handed over their phones.
At this point, a passer-by realised a mugging was taking place and approached the group, causing the suspects to run off towards Bishop's Gate.
The suspects were described as a group of eight black teenagers, aged 16-18, dressed in casual clothing.
If you were travelling through the park between 5-30pm on that day and saw a group matching the description, or the robbery itself, contact the police on 101, quoting reference 0704223/19.
Or, if you would rather not speak to police, contact independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
