Around 40 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a scaffolding yard in Croydon.
The brigade was initially called at 12:30pm to the site on Mitcham Road, where they found a large quantity of scaffolding boards alight.
Fire crews from Croydon, Norbury, Wallington and surrounding fire stations are at the scene, as their work continues.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
