A man has been charged with possession of a 'large knife' after he was arrested in central Croydon last week.
Police stopped and searched Connor Zachery Harrison, 24, on Dingwall Road after they saw him participating in what they thought was a drug deal.
On his person they found a blade (pictured) and a quantity of cannabis.
He was arrested and taken to police custody, where he was kept over night to be charged with the possession of a knife in a public place.
Harrison appeared in court the next day, where he pleaded not guilty.
Croydon Magistrates remanded him last week in prison until the next hearing at Camberwell Magistrates on May 2.
