Sutton police are investigating after an elderly woman had a pendant and necklace stolen from her during a burglary.
Among the items taken was a piece of jewellery which was given to her by her late husband before he passed away.
On its reverse side it had an inscription which read, “Keep strong. Love you forever, Snuggs.”
Sutton police said: “Last Friday (March 29) a local elderly lady suffered a burglary. Among items stolen was this pendant and necklace from her husband before he passed away.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting the reference 8641/29MAR19.
