A person has died after emergency services were called to reports of someone having been hit by a train in New Malden.
The incident between Weybridge and Earlsfield has led to all lines country bound being blocked for the time being (April 2).
South Western Railway say all power to the track has been shut off after they received reports that a person had been struck by a train.
British Transport Police said: "At 1.15pm today, officers were called to New Maldne station to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however, a person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family. This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
