Police have release a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with a Banstead burglary which left a pensioner needing hospital treatment.
The 74-year-old resident’s home was “ransacked” by thieves who stole a sentimental locket from her home on February 3.
It contained a lock of hair which belonged to her daughter, who died at just four years old, as the burglars also took some jewellery and cash.
The victim was left so distraught that she was rushed to hospital for chest pains and breathing problems before being later released, according to police.
Now, today (March 25), Surrey Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with following the incident.

The force said: “Please come forward as a matter of urgency if you recognise the man in the image so that we can identify him and progress our enquiries.
“We are also appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time – or who may have been offered any of the jewellery, particularly the locket, for sale.”
Detectives suspect the burglars broke into the victim’s home between 2pm and 6pm that Sunday in February.
