A pair of Wimbledon sisters have exceeded even their lofty goals when they completed their first half-marathon in Barcelona.
Cordelia (22) and Madeleine Aspinall (20) set themselves a target to raise £1000 for charity Bloodwise, in memory of their grandfather.
"This is a cause so close to our hearts and cancer affects everybody in some way," the pair wrote on their Justgiving page.
"We lost our amazing grandpa Jack to leukaemia and are ready to run to beat this disease."
And run they did.
The sisters trained by running through the streets of Wimbledon and Raynes Park and by the time of the big race, they had raised nearly £1200 for the charity.
