Residents and staff at Surbiton's Royal Star and Garter care home donned pyjamas and painted their noses red to mark Comic Relief 2019 yesterday (March 16).
The care home looks after veterans and their partners affected by dementia and disability, and got into the spirit of Red Nose Day with the help of some wardrobe adjustments and artistic expertise.
They were all transformed by former make-up artist Rosemarie Swinfield, who volunteers at the home.
Rosemarie said: "It was good fun to spread a little Comic Relief joy around the home. Residents and staff got into the spirit of the day and we all enjoyed ourselves."
Staff also came in in their pyjamas and residents were treated to jokes and riddles as part of the Red Nose Day fun, Royal Star and Garter said.
Organisers said that Red Nose Day 2019 raised over £63 million for charitable causes in the UK and around the world.
