A father killed on his doorstep was stabbed in the heart, an inquest revealed.
Wesley Adyinka died outside his block of flats in Maidstone, Kent, in the early hours of February 3.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and performed CPR but failed to save the 37-year-old.
His partner Amanda Francis was taken to hospital with a leg wound and survived.
His death is among a spate of stabbings in the south east - with the number of murder investigations launched in the capital reaching 21 yesterday (March 6).
Kevin Roach, 39, of South Norwood, was charged with murder and is expected to enter a plea at Maidstone Crown Court on March 15.
The inquest was adjourned pending criminal proceedings.
