A 16-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being shot in West Norwood last night.
Police were called at 10.13pm to a reports of a shooting in Unity Close, SE19.
According to reports, the boy managed to walk away for the scene before he was discovered by officers, suffering from gunshot injuries.
Officers administered first aid prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service, who rushed him to a south London hospital, where his condition is currently critical.
His next of kin have informed.
There have been no arrests at this time.
The investigation is being led by detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command.
