A man has been taken to hospital after a flat in Sidcup caught fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Twenty-five firefighters, along with four fire engines, were called to the scene in St James Way shortly after 3am following reports of a fire on the second floor of an apartment building.

One man was rescued from his four-room flat after emergency crews scaled the building using a ladder.
He was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
According to the London Fire Brigade, most of the apartment has been damaged due to the blaze.

Fire crews from Sidcup, Bexley and Orpington fire stations managed to douse the flames just after 4:30am.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service has said: "We were called at 3:19am on January 19 to a fire at a residential address on St James Way, Sidcup.
"We sent an ambulance crew and dispatched our hazardous area response team (HART) to the scene.
"We treated a person at the scene and took them to hospital."
