A long-standing Cheam pub has undergone a £150,000 makeover and now has a new look about it.
Ye Olde Red Lion, in Park Road, has reopened its doors and boasts a more up-to-date appearance, having welcomed customers over the Christmas holidays.
Patrons were treated to festive dishes – such as hog roast pie, pork belly and beef bourguignon – and various tipples from Surrey Hills and Wimbledon breweries.
General manager Erin Griffin said: “We are so excited to relaunch of our beautiful venue to the people of Cheam.
“With a great menu and ales from nearby breweries, we are poised to provide the very best food and drink, at the heart of the local community.”
