The George Pub
A pensioner died of a heart attack in a Croydon pub last night.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene by the ambulance service.
Police were called at 7.22pm to reports of a cardiac arrest in the Wetherspoon branch, which was closed temporarily.
The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
