A house fire in Thornton Heath required six engines and around 40 firefighters to be brought under control.
The brigade were called at 12.05 to a fire at a property on Livingston Road.
Part of the ground floor and part of the first floor of a semi-detached house are alight.
An older woman left the property, unhurt, before the Brigade arrived.
The fire was under control by 13.51.
Fire crews from West Norwood, Clapham, Beckenham and Forest Hill are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
