A man has been rushed to hospital as police were called to a serious assault near Blackhorse Lane station.
British Transport Police officers responded to tram tracks near the station at 2.47pm this afternoon.
The man was treated for his injuries at the scene. No arrests have been made.
A BTP spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the tracks close to Black Horse Lane station at 2.47pm this afternoon following reports of a serious assault.
"Colleagues from the Met and the London Ambulance Service also attended and a man was treated for his injuries.
"Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 257 of 04/01/19."
