Two male teenagers in Epsom have been taken to hospital after a crash on New Year’s Eve between a moped and a car, Surrey Police has revealed.
Police say they were called at 8pm to the junction of Ruxley Lane and Jasmin Lane, following a crash between a blue Peugeot moped and a Silver Ford Galaxy.
A teenager sustained life threatening injuries to his head and chest, while a second teenager suffered potentially life changing injuries to his hand.
Both remain in hospital, where they were taken by ambulance.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle in the hour before the collision.
In particular they are keen to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam, helmet-cam or CCTV footage of either vehicle.
Anyone who is able to help is asked to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference PR/45180138558.
