A male driver was “pronounced dead at the scene” after crashing into two parked cars near the Hilton International Hotel in Cobham at the weekend.

Another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries but details of his condition remain unknown at this time.

A black Peugeot 307 collided with two parked cars on Seven Hills Road South near the Hilton International Hotel at around 2.20am on December 30.

The road was temporarily closed off while emergency services dealt with the incident, and there was no access to the Hilton International Hotel, according to a tweet by Surrey Police’s roads policing unit.

Police are appealing to witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage or information which could help with enquiries, to call 101, quoting the reference number PR/18310265.
