Two men are wanted by police in Beddington after they targeted an elderly couple in Beddington by claiming to be from a water board.
The suspects managed to get into the residents’ property in Elberon Avenue, on December 16, but were chased off by a “vigiliant” neighbour.
Officers have described the two men as white and aged between 25 and 35 years old.
The first was wearing blue trousers, a blue jacket and blue hat and had a London accent.
The second was wearing a black coat with a fur trim.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Beddington North Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101, via Facebook or Twitter.
