A 41 year-old man from Walton on Thames has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a motorist suffering a medical episode on the M25 last month.
The man was arrested on December 17 and has since been released under investigation.
Police received reports of a suspected drink driver between junctions 13 and 14 of the M25 at around 10.15am on November 24 but it later transpired the man was having a stroke.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, stopped on the hard shoulder and a number of drivers pulled over to find out what happened.
But before emergency services arrived, a motorcyclist pulled over and allegedly assaulted him.
Anyone with any further information is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting the reference PR/45180125254.
