A national coffee chain has relocated into a larger shop in Sutton High Street – and it’s opening its doors tomorrow.

easyCoffee, part of the easy family – such as EasyJet, easyGym and easyHotel – will move into the new space next to Sainsbury’s on the site of the Old Gas Works.

It’s also the first to have its own “friendly table” where people can sit, meet new people and possibly make new friends.

Chief executive Nathan Lowry said: “easyCoffee has been expanding across the UK, with shops from Hastings all the way up to Edinburgh via Blackburn and Burnley.

“[We also] have shops in London – in Orpington, Dartford and now a larger premises in Sutton.

“We’re so chuffed to have found a top spot on the Old Gas Works development site next to Sainsbury’s, with plenty of seating, free Wi-Fi, a kids’ play area and a friendly Sutton team and can’t wait to get 2019 started in our new location.”

The new easyCoffee is located in unit B2 at 291, High Street, Sutton (SM1 1AN) and will open on Thursday (December 20).
