A fire which broke out above a NatWest bank in Dartford High Street on Sunday evening is not being treated as suspicious and was likely started due to faulty electrics.
According to a spokeswoman from Kent Fire & Rescue, investigators are treating the incident as "accidental" and believe the fire was caused by an "electrical fault".
Six fire engines, along with a height vehicle, were called to the scene on Sunday shortly after 8.30pm.
Firefighters battled the blaze in the four-storey building overnight and managed to control the flames by Monday afternoon.
There were no reported casualties.
It is understood the NatWest on the High Street is currently closed due to the incident.
However, according to a tweet by a NatWest community banker, customers affected by the closure of the High Street branch can attend a drop-in session at The Meeting Place in the Orchards Shopping Centre on December 17-18.
