Statin’ Quo come to the Boom Boom Club in Sutton this Saturday playing all the classic hits from one of the UK’s most celebrated bands, Status Quo.

Formed in August of 1967, after changing their name from The Spectres and Traffic to Status Quo, the band went on to change the face of rock, pop, psychedelia and boogie with 50 years of great head banging tunes.

Now comes this special 51st anniversary show with Statin’ Quo who play all the crowd-pleasing favourites.

The gig also celebrates the 30-year friendship of Croydon guitarist Carl Nielsen with Quo founder member Francis Rossi. Carl plays the part of Rick Parfitt and looks just like the great man himself.

Statin’ Quo was formed in 2006 in Purley by Carl who is a long time next door neighbour and good friend of Francis Rossi. Carl has jammed with Francis on numerous occasions and has got the thumbs up from the main man to pursue this project.

The band’s two sets include Caroline, Down Down, Break The Rules, What You’re Proposing and Rockin All Over The World.
