Four people have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a black cab in Kingston in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and was taken, along with three others, to hospital for treatment, but their condition is not known at this time
Emergency services were called at approximately 1am on Saturday, December 1 to Cromwell Road to reports of a two vehicle crash.
A photo of the wreckage on Cromwell Road shows what appears to be a car crashed into a black cab, with its top cut off.
A witness who saw the wreckage of the car said: “The three lanes are all still closed off and traffic is being diverted so it doesn’t go under Kingston railway bridge but along Canbury Park Road.”
Cromwell Road is partially blocked westbound, and traffic remains slow.
Police enquiries continue.
