A yellow weather warning has been issued as the UK braces itself for strong winds.
As we welcome December it might be a good plan to stay in this weekend and put up the tree instead of being whisked away by a large gust.
The Met Office has said that we could see winds of up to 65mph.
For the South East we might just get a bit soggy with lesser winds, but it will nonetheless be a bit grim.
A spokesman for the Met Office has said that this wind will also bring some rain, so we could see some localised flooding over the next couple of days.
We are likely to see delays on the roads and trains so you are advised to check before travelling.
