The details for this years numerous Christmas light switch on events have been revealed.
This year there will be four different times to enjoy the fun, beginning on Friday (November 30) in Colliers Wood with Merton Council's official event.
Taking place from 4pm, people will gather together at the plaza, adjacent to the entrance of tube station, to join in a festive sing-along with the Colliers Wood Chorus and local primary school choirs - with the illumination of High Street Colliers Wood at 5:30pm.
Next up will be the Wimbledon Winter Wonderland on Sunday, December 2 with events beginning from midday.
Love Wimbledon’s wonderland returns to The Broadway and will include Christmas market stalls, street entertainment, festive performances, children’s rides a live ice carving and big brass band.
A fireworks display will also take place at 5:30pm.
Next will be Morden's turn to take in the festivities on December 7.
Love Morden’s annual 'light up Morden' event returns with choirs, music and dancing along Crown Lane between Merton Civic Centre and Morden Baptist Church.
The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 5:00pm.
Rounding things off will be Christmas in Wimbledon Village.
Wimbledon Village Business Association has planned a family day to ensure everyone can join in the fun.
There will be free family activities including story-time, fairground rides, carols, mince pies and mulled wine. Families can watch Santa arrive through the high street on horseback and meet Santa in his grotto.
The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 4:40pm.
