A women has died in hospital after a fire in her flat in Tooting.
London Fire Brigade were called to reports of a fire to a flat on Garratt Lane at 12:36 pm on November 22. The fire was under control by 1:22 pm. Part of a bedroom in a four-roomed flat on the first and second floor was damaged.
The lady was treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where she sadly died.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from Tooting, Wandsworth, Battersea, Clapham and Norbury were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
