A major road in Purley has been closed this morning after what has been described as a "serious" crash.
Police, paramedics, and firefighters have all been seen at the scene of the incident on the A235 Brighton Road this morning.
As of 10.25am, few official details regarding the collision itself have emerged, but it appears to have involved at least one car and one van.
The road has been closed since the incident and traffic has been building up in the area.
Croydon Guardian has contacted Met Police, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade for further information.
